Camdyn‘s success story is one for the books. His mother brought him to our office with a general reading concern and because he was quickly fatiguing with near tasks. In fact, on our symptom checklist, a score of 25-or-above shows a high chance of a vision problem that interferes with learning; Cam scored 73.

Camdyn started therapy the summer before starting 5th grade. In addition to his reported symptoms, our findings included problems in eye movements, in accommodation (focus control), and convergence (eye teaming control). He also tested positive for several foundational movements, also known as primitive reflexes.

Originally prescribed 36 sessions (9 months) of vision therapy, Cam‘s hard work and significant progress in developing his vision skills enabled him to graduate 6 weeks early! He and his mother reported the following changes:

- Reading is no longer difficult
- More self-confident
- Less skipping of lines in reading
- Better at soccer
- Reads much better
- Doubled his words per minute on his reading report

Camdyn‘s mother, a reading teacher, has been essential in spreading the word to family and friends about the benefits of vision therapy. We’re so blessed to have worked with you and your loved ones!

Needless to say, it’s been a pleasure to work with you, Cam. Congratulations!!!
