Congratulations, Aleric! We are so proud to know that we could be a part of making school more enjoyable for you this year.
Aleric and his mother have been faithful in coming to their 48 sessions of prescribed vision therapy (for those of you doing the math, yes, that's right around a year of weekly appointments!). But their consistency really paid off. Aleric's confidence since his program in vision therapy has improved significantly along with his comfort and control of his vision skills. Going to school is no longer a battle, and he enjoys being in class now.
In addition, Aleric's ability to control gross motor movements improved tremendously over the course of his therapy. He now participates in desk activities without much difficulty. Homework is easier to complete and sports are more enjoyable.
Dr. Raber's clinical findings now show smooth, steady, and accurate eye movements and eye focusing skills (accommodation and convergence) measure within expected ranges.
